Citing a Website in MLA: Place the author’s name in reverse order, the last name first, followed by a comma, and then the first name followed by a period. The title of the web page or article is placed in quotation marks, with a period before the end quotation. The title of the website is written in italics followed by a comma/5(). The entire quotation should be indented one inch from the left margin; Maintain double-spacing; Only indent the first line of the quotation by an additional quarter inch if multiple paragraphs are cited; Parenthetical citation comes after the closing punctuation mark; If quoting a long verse (poetry), maintain original line breaks.
If the publication date is unknown, or if the content is likely to change over time, add wsbsite access date at the end instead.
